"Tiger Chat" is an annual Broken Arrow Public Schools freshman orientation program enabling current eighth graders and their parents/guardians to gain information on their upcoming years at Broken Arrow High School. This orientation will be held at the Freshman Academy, 301 W. New Orleans <map>, on Tuesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. Click here for the Tiger Chat 2016 brochure.
The program will feature break-out sessions on the following topics:
- High school graduation requirements
- High school athletics
- Visual and Performing Arts
- AP/PreAP program
- Student clubs, organizations and activities
- Special education transitions in high school and beyond
- Career information

- Foreign languages
- Tulsa Technology Center

This orientation will be offered again in the fall, after schedule pickup on Thursday, August 11. However, this is also the same night as the districtwide sixth grade orientation. If you also have a student who will be a sixth grader next school year, we encourage you to attend the freshman orientation this spring in order to avoid conflict.
