Let’s start with a change this morning. There are NO tryouts at the end of this month for Girls’ soccer. High school Girls’ tryouts have been postponed until August. Please check the Broken Arrow website for the specific dates.
Juniors, if you want to take online Personal Finance this summer through TTCU, please come to A201 to get the log-in code. So, pick up some room in your schedule for next year and pick up the code today.
Did you know that you can still support Project Graduation? Think about Juniors. When Project Grad happens for you next year, you will want every person possible supporting it. So, consider this: Project graduation night is tonight and tomorrow at Papa John’s Pizza from 4-9 with 20% of sales going to BA. So, even if you aren’t going to graduation, you can order pizza and watch graduation LIVE online tonight. The website is easy. WWW.BROKENARROWTIGERS.TV
Well, tomorrow is a huge day for all of us around. It is Junior Jam. As part of the celebration, you should think about this one: Junior Jam shirts are still being sold before and after school in I-210, and during all three lunches in the cafeteria. Cost is only $10.
Now Juniors, this next is not only “hot off the press,” but it is also an opportunity just for you. Broken Arrow High School has partnered with OKIE (Oklahoma Israel Exchange) for the coming 2013-2014 school year. 10 Seniors next year will have the opportunity to host a student from Israel as well as travel to New York City for 3 nights, Washington DC for 3 nights, and 6 nights in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem. In addition the cost will include all travel expenses, travel insurance and educational materials. The cost to each student is $3,400 after a $1,600 scholarship being offered from OKIE. Travel will take place the last week of October through the middle of November. Students will be back before Thanksgiving and the school will work with students as it pertains to attendance and their academics. If you are interested in obtaining additional information, there will be a sign-up table during Junior Jam at the football stadium tomorrow. Interested applicants will receive additional information and applications next Wednesday at 6:00 in the Varsity Club, which is upstairs in the Athletic Building just south of the football stadium.
Sounds like a great opportunity. And a perfect time to close. As for us, that’s it, that’s all. See you next time BA. Stay tuned for the pledge and moment of silence.
