Mrs. Wallace-Gateley opened Aspen Creek Early Childhood Center in 2013. She joined Broken Arrow Public Schools in 2012 as the assistant principal at Country Lane Primary. She has 15 years of experience as a public school educator. Prior to coming to Broken Arrow Mrs. Wallace Gateley served as an assistant principal and a teacher at Union Public Schools. She taught kindergarten and first grade at Briarglen Elementary and taught first and second grade multiage at Moore Elementary. Wallace-Gateley also taught first grade for three years at Eanes ISD in Austin, Texas. Her favorite times in the classroom were those when she observed students beam with enthusiasm as they developed a love for reading.
Wallace-Gateley has been married to Michael for eleven years. They have a six year old daughter, Ava. They enjoy swimming, going to the movies, and dining at their favorite restaurants. Gateley also enjoys exercising and loves spending time with her family and friends.
Wallace-Gateley is thrilled to be a Broken Arrow Tiger and feels very blessed to work in what she calls “Early Childhood Utopia!” She believes every child is a special individual and loves to help students build self-confidence as it is the key to their future.
