BAHS students raising money for Make-A-Wish
Once again this year, leadership students are raising money to grant wishes for Broken Arrow students through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During the week of March 2-6, there will be a variety of activities to help raise $15,000 to grant the wishes of two local children. Below is the list of activities for this week:
Monday, March 2
Teacher vs. Students Dodgeball Tournament at 6 p.m. in the Aux gym.
The cost is $1 to watch or $30 for a team of 6 to play. Registration forms are in the Student Union and registration closes on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Dine Out Night: Cane’s Chicken from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mention BAHS and 15% will be donated for Make-A-Wish.
Tuesday, March 3
Family Trivia Night at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Union.
The cost is $20 per family of up to 6 to participate. Download registration form. These forms are also available in the Student Union. Registration closes on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Families and students from across the district are invited to participate.
Dine Out Night: Marble Slab Creamery from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Mention BAHS and a portion of the proceeds will be donated for Make-A-Wish.
Wednesday, March 4
Flapjacks Breakfast in the student union before school
Donations for Make-A-Wish will be accepted!
Dine Out Night: Buffalo Wild Wings from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mention BAHS and 15% of the proceeds will be donated for Make-A-Wish.
Thursday, March 5
Make-A-Wish Gala hosted by BAHS Student Council at 6 p.m. Central on Main, 210 N. Main Street.
Tickets are $45 each or $350 for a table of 8. Dinner is included. Register online or see Mrs. Welborn in the Student Union.
Friday, March 6
Silent Dance at the Indoor Facility from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A silent dance is a unique party experience where all guests are wearing specially designed wireless headphones playing different music at any given time. Students can sign up to participate in the student union for $10, and all profit will go to Make A Wish. Sign-ups are taking place now through Tuesday, Feb. 25.
