Free dental services available to Broken Arrow students

Broken Arrow Public Schools and Spring Dental partnering to provide Healthy Smiles Program.

Broken Arrow Public Schools has partnered with Spring Dental to launch the Healthy Smiles Program for the 2019-20 school year. This program will provide free dental exams, X-rays, and consultations to all Broken Arrow students, faculty, staff and parents.

The American Dental Association recommends scheduling your child’s first dental appointment between the arrival of their first tooth and no later than his/her first birthday. However, 75% of children under the age of 18 are not receiving proper dental care. These statistics inspired Spring Dental and BAPS to organize this program.

“We are so excited to serve the Broken Arrow community and meet all of the amazing children and families within the district!” said Dr. Eric Nielsen of Spring Dental. The Healthy Smiles program is open to all families and students ages Pre-K-12.

Spring Dental is a family-focused dental practice dedicated to providing affordable oral healthcare to families in Broken Arrow and surrounding communities. '
