Leadership class now accepting applications for 2020-21 school year

It’s already time for students to start thinking about enrollment for the 2020-21 school year! Students currently in grades 9-11 who are interested in participating in leadership class should complete this online application by Friday, March 6. While there are quite a few students in the program who are seasoned leaders, aspiring leaders as well as students who are looking for a place on campus are also welcome.

Through the application, students will be asked to choose between the following two courses and will also be asked to list their current schedule.

Applied Leadership - This class is designed for aspiring student leaders who are interested in applying leadership skills and increasing engagement in school activities. Goal setting, team building and leadership theory are studied and put into practice through involvement in school activities and community projects. Activities in this class will consist of team building activities, class discussions and self-reflection, and preparation for school events.

Tiger Challenge Leadership - This active leadership class contributes to the community and builds practical leadership skills. It teaches the five tenets of Tiger Challenge, Tenacity, Integrity, Gratitude, Expectations, and Respect in a variety of ways including greeting new students, mentoring elementary students and creating an atmosphere of kindness at BAHS. Students in this class may prepare assemblies or events for younger students at BAPS surrounding the five tenets of Tiger Challenge.
