Oliver to host Academic Advisement Night for students in grades 5-7
In an effort to provide middle school students and parents with information about academic programming offered at Broken Arrow Public Schools, Oliver is hosting an Academic Advisement Night on Feb. 13, 6 - 7:30 p.m. for students currently in grades 5 -7.
Topics and breakout sessions include information about fine arts, athletics, honors classes, technology (STEM programs, Gateway to Technology and computer courses), special education and more. Students and their parents are encouraged to attend the opening session and also the breakout sessions to gain more knowledge about middle school.
Middle school enrollment for the 2018-19 school year will take place Feb. 12-16. New this year, current students in grades 6 and 7 will be enrolling online using Naviance. Oliver will have computers set up for online enrollment during the Academic Advisement Night.
Current 5th grade students will receive enrollment cards that should be returned to their counselor by Feb. 16.
