Broken Arrow High School to welcome 10-12 grade students that are new to the district

Pre-registration is required to attend, deadline is Aug. 28

With the 2020-21 school year on the horizon, Broken Arrow High School is welcoming new 10-12 grade students to the district with a program called New Student Launch. This event is re-scheduled to be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31. Dinner will be provided at this event.

This voluntary orientation program, which is organized by school administrators, teachers and senior student leaders, is designed to help new students form student-to-student and school-to-student connections. In addition, it will allow students to become familiar with the high school campus and its resources.

“New Student Launch is designed to connect students with the people, places and information they need to be successful at Broken Arrow High School,” said Christina Welborn director of student life and activities at BAHS. “Our hope is that New Student Launch will help these students feel at home and understand the ‘Tiger Way,’ both of which will create a successful high school career.”

Students will need to register by emailing Ms. Welborn at cwelborn@baschools.org by Friday, Aug. 28, to participate in this program.

For more information about this program, please contact Ms. Welborn at cwelborn@baschools.org or 918-259-8571.
