Vision screening at Oliver Tuesday, Jan. 28
Vision screenings will be performed at Oliver Middle School on Tuesday, Jan. 28, during social studies class. Screenings are to be done in all grades and will screen far vision using the HOTV charts. Please remind your child to wear their glasses or contacts. The screening will take minimal time from classroom instruction. If you child does not successively pass the screening test then a referral letter will be sent home.
If you do not want your child to be screened please send a note to Nurse Waits or contact the health office at 918-259-4590.
On the same day our 8th grade students will participate in a health fair. Our presenters will be as follows:
- Delta Dental will discuss proper oral care and a goodie bag will be given to the students.
- Hiland Dairy will discuss the importance of calcium/milk with a complimentary ice cream snack.
- Sgt. Yokley from Oklahoma City will discuss the importance of seat belt safety with a roll over simulator.
