To access webmail use the following URL:   https://webmail1.baschools.org/owa

 

There are 2 ways to access your email:  an Outlook client or a web browser such as Internet Explorer.

 

If you know how to configure Outlook for Exchange then use ESC-2K3-MAIL2 as the server name. 

Otherwise, call the helpdesk and they will do it over the phone or send someone. 

 

Outlook is supported only on your school computer, not your home computer.

 

If you are outside the district network you need to use a web browser.  Just point it to the following:

 

https://webmail1.baschools.org/owa

 

 We are using forms-based login now.  Use the following to log in:

 

BAK12OKUS\your-user-name  (note: do not use dots in the domain)

your-password

Upgrade to Exchange 2007

4/1/2009 10:11am - New SSL Certificate installed and tested successfully.  Windows Mobile devices synchronizing.

3/18/2009 04:00pm - Migration essentially completed with some outstanding issues on which we will continue to work including:  gaining a valid SSL Certificate for Outlook Web Access and fixing mobile device support (OWA still works with mobile devices meantime).  Some users may receive an error when attempting to access their mailbox from webmail.  There is an easy fix for this, contact the helpdesk.

3/18/2009 03:02pm - Migration continued - incoming and outgoing internet mail now flowing - Outstanding issues:  Exchange ActiveSync not working with mobile devices, retire old server (summer timeframe), email archiver (new purchase), OWA SSL Certificate (soon)

3/18/2009 12:40pm - Migration continued - public folders replicated to new server, disaster recovery backups configured, outgoing mail to internet is being queued - We're working on issues related to the outgoing internet mail issue, outlook web access and some user's mailboxes, and planning the retirement of the existing Exchange 2003.
