D.D.Preschool/D.D. Kindergarten services are offered for children between the ages of 3 to 5. Public law 99457 outlines eligibility based on the category "Developmentally Delayed." This is the special education category up to age 8. Our Developmentally Delayed Preschool/Kindergarten programs are located at several school sites offering _ half day to full-day placement. Children with mild to multiple disabilities are served in these settings. Additional resources such as occupational, physical and speech therapies are provided as needed. At age 8, a psycoeductional evaluation is conducted and a specific categorical will be identified such as learning disabilities, orthopedically impaired, mental retardation, autism, or other health impaired.
