There have been many changes in the Deaf Education program in the past 12 years. The program currently serves approximately 50 students. It is exciting to see the growth of the program and how our students have blossomed under the fine teaching of our teachers and the interpreting of our certified interpreters. In the beginning, most of the teaching was done in Signed English. We now have a philosophy of using American Sign Language to assist us in the teaching of English. Our program has grown and our students have blossomed.
