2.4 School Assembly Programs (Religious)

The policy of the Broken Arrow Board of Education provides that no instruction in a particular religious denomination will be given in the school.

School activity group meetings, school assemblies, etc., held during or outside the regular school time will be considered a part of the curriculum.

When requests are received to permit visiting musical groups, entertainers, and/or speakers to appear before the student body, the following policy shall be observed:
Assembly programs shall not be scheduled for speakers and/or groups which are specifically church-related.
