1.10 School Year Calendar Development and Approval Plan

The development of a school calendar will emphasize academic considerations while balancing the needs of students and teachers regarding holidays and professional days.
The intent of the Board of Education is that input on calendar development be taken from
teachers, staff and parents through methods determined to be efficient and beneficial. This could include a variety of methods such as surveys, and meetings.

The Board of Education directs the Superintendent to develop Administrative procedure guidelines and parameters as necessary for the efficient delivery of calendar options to the Board of Education.
