Student Services is an important component of Broken Arrow Public School's effort to provide comprehensive educational services to its students. Services which support the academic mission of the district are coordinated through the Instructional Services department.

Alternative Placement Education Program (APEP) Designed to offer programming and continuing education for high school students under disciplinary action, this program operates in the late afternoon and evening hours at South Intermediate High School. Student placement in the program is made by school administrative staff.

Athletics Broken Arrow Public Schools offers a comprehensive athletic program for our secondary school students. While we enjoy great success in terms of winning and earning championships in athletics, our greatest achievements are centered around the continual growth and development of our coaches as leaders and our students as achievers.

Bloodborne Pathogens This training and information page is required of many employees in the school district and contains many helpful items.

Broken Arrow Academy Programming for students identified as at risk. This program has achieved great success in providing opportunities for students and lowering the drop-out rate. Admission to the program is by application. Contact your school counselor for more information.

Crisis Response Team Trained staff members who respond to school or district-wide emergencies in order to assess, plan, and provide intervention services for students and staff members.

Health Services Provide for health care delivery and education which assess, promote, and protect the health of students and school personnel. The Broken Arrow School District employs 14 registered nurses and 14 health clerks.

Instrumental Music Beginning in the middle schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools offers a comprehensive award winning instrumental music program. From the bow of the cello to the wind of the piccolo our students produce a myriad of sounds that combine to form some of the finest orchestra ensembles and bands in the nation.

Library/Media Center Program Throughout our school system our library/media center program plays an integral part to the education and development of our students. Each of our schools, both elementary and secondary, is staffed with certified media specialists and equipped with updated reading materials and technology.

Margaret Hudson Program Programming for pregnant and parenting youth to continue their education with the support of comprehensive social and health care services.

SRO's School Resource Officers are employed by the Broken Arrow Police Department and provide various educational and crime prevention programs as well as a police presence at every school site.

Title IV Safe & Drug Free Schools The Federal government's primary vehicle for reducing drug, alcohol and tobacco use, and violence, through education and prevention activities in our nation's schools.
